‘Special and Vegan courses’
For the first time in several years, the Omotesando area of Tokyo is bustling with large numbers of international tourists.This year, the lively mood of the area has returned with warm weather and smiling people coming and going.
MUSHROOM TOKYO, Japan’s first restaurant specializing in mushroom cuisine, will be the first to introduce a new course menu for May and June (served during dinner time).
The “Special Course” offers refreshing early-summer dishes that make the most of seasonal vegetables and spices. The “Vegan Course,” which is popular in Omotesando and does not contain any animal products, has also evolved to be even more delicious.
Reservations can be made through the “TableCheck” reservation form. It is by appointment only, so please use it as soon as possible.

●Spring rolls with mushrooms and Edomae herbs with Soy milk spicy sauce
Edomae herbs and mushrooms, rich in aroma and taste, are made into spring rolls. Serve with our original sauce made from homemade spiced oil and soy milk.
●Pickled mushrooms and quinoa salad with Tofu feta
Homemade tofu feta cheese and pickled mushrooms are combined with quinoa to make a salad. This dish has an enjoyable texture and flavor.
●Grilled semi-dried miso-pickled mushroom with Green pea sauce
Semi-dried “large mushroom” with concentrated flavor are marinated in a miso paste bed, which is then grilled over an open flame. Please enjoy the combination of the sauce of green peas and the flavor of miso.
●Mushroom soup with Salmorejo
Mushroom soup, richly prepared with abundant mushrooms, is combined with tomato-based salmolejo, which gives it a refreshing sour taste. A perfect dish for this season.
●Mushroom gelée – Organic ginger of Genkaitoppa from Kochi Pref.
The broth is made at 60°C for one hour, which increases the flavor of mushrooms, and then made into a gelée. Please enjoy the refreshing spiciness and texture of “ginger that breaks the limit.
●Roasted mushrooms and Lamb rump steak – Yellow romesco sauce salsa verde
Roasted large mushrooms are paired with tasty lamb rump full of flavor. Enjoy the balance of the yellow paprika-based romesco sauce and the refreshing salsa verde.
*The vegan course has the Smoked Mushroom and Beetroot Tartar 3.0 instead!
●Mushroom trapanese – ZENB NOODLE
Using “ZENB NOODLE”, 100% bean noodles and low-carb, the trapanese is made with basil and almonds as a base. You can enjoy the richness of each ingredient in this dish.
●Mushrooms with Rum raisin cream pie sandwich
Rum raisin cream, which has the richness of butter cream without any animal products, is sandwiched in a light-textured crispy pie. Mushroom powder is added to the cream to make more flavor. The rum flavor that spreads in the mouth at the end is a nice accent.
About “Vegan Course”
The “Vegan Course,” which has been very popular since last year, is also continuing.
The ever-popular menu has finally been updated!The vegan dinner, titled “Smoked Mushroom and Beetroot Tartar 3.0,” will offer a more extreme version of deliciousness.
Reservations for pairing and non-alcoholic pairing course
Thank you for your support, reservations for the pairing and non-alcoholic pairing courses have become very popular. We prepare the drinks that match each dish in advance, so it may be difficult to serve them without a reservation. Please choose “Pairing Course” or “Non-Alcoholic Pairing Course” at the time of reservation.
[Notice] Dinner course reservation
Thanks to your support, we have a growing number of repeat customers who make dinner course reservations.
In order to allow as many people as possible to enjoy mushroom meals, while taking up space in a safe and comfortable environment,
we provide two starting-time for dinner.
Early evening: starting at 18:00 ends 20:00 (approx. 2hours)
Late evening : starting at 20:00 ends 22:00 (approx. 2hours).
Please read the following the precautions.
1) Dinner course needs reservation through online reservation system.
Reservation deadline is 3:00 p.m. (Japan time) the day before the dinner date.
For last-minutes reservations, please phone our restaurant directly.
2) Only course meals will be served.
3) Two hours are required and cannot be extended or changed.
4) In accordance with the government policy, from March 13, 2023, the wearing of masks in the restaurant will be personal decisions of the guests themselves. Please be considerate of other guests.
Please make your dinner course reservations as soon as possible.
