【PROFILE】
Owner-bartender of CRAFTROOM in Umeda, Osaka.
After honing his craft at a prestigious authentic bar in Kitashinchi, Fujii won the Japan Final of DIAGEO World Class — one of the most competitive bartending championships in the world — in 2016, and went on to place 2nd at the Global Final that same year.
In 2020, he opened CRAFTROOM in the basement of Osaka Ekimae Dai-ichi Building, inspired by the atmosphere of a 1920s American workshop. He serves innovative cocktails crafted with house-made fermented drinks, bitters, and aromatic waters.
Ranked among “Asia’s 50 Best Bars,” Fujii is one of Kansai’s leading new-generation bartenders and an active producer of numerous bar events.
